FURYK JOINS PAC
Jim Furyk is elated and contented with his selection in the Player Advisory Committee which is a 16 member team that is responsible for all the advisory and policy making deals of the PGA tour. He took his spot as one of the top four players who made it to the director’s position on the policy board.
Jim will be replacing Zach Johnson as the chairman of the 2012 PAC committee. This is going to be quite interesting as the Players Advisory Committee is going to see quite a number of new novel faces in the council. Some of the new representatives include those of Ken Duke, Carl Peterson, Harrison Frazar, Patrick Sheehan, Bo Van Pelt and Chris Stroud.
Some of the former earlier members like Joe Ogilvie and Stewart Cink are definitely going to give in their advice from prior experiences and help the Committee in their decisions on crucial and important matters. There are hopes that there will be some new changes brought to decisions made by the Payers advisory committee, but nothing is certain for sure till now. The committee will be holding their first meeting sometime next week and the future course of events shall be decided from there on. Jim Furyk is sure to make quite an impact as well with his role as a chairman and is definitely going to carry out his role and responsibilities with precision and perfection trying to improve all the previous decisions made by the previous chairman.
Jim Furyk just wants to make sure that the first meeting goes on smoothly without any problems. He has all his focus on the meeting as of now and wants it to be productive for the committee.
