Norman Hopeful of Adam Scott’s Victory

Looking back at the stunning performance that Adam Scott had delivered the previous year at the British Open, the ace Aussie golfer Greg Norman is optimistic about Scott repeating his performance this year. The reason why he has expressed such a view is that Adam had almost let go of his victory this 2012 by bogeying all of the holes with each of the four strokes that he was leading by and the worst part was that he lost the tourney by just one stroke. South African Ernie Els walked away with the victory. It is quite obvious that Adam is sad about the major that he could have won.

Greg Norman said that it was absolutely human for Adam Scott because one always learns from his mistakes than from his wins. He had brought forward tiger woods’ bad days as an example stating such a prodigy as he went on years without winning a single tourney. And the comparison stands well because Adam Scott has always proved that he has that X-factor within him. The mistake just happened because he had chosen wrong positions while taking those strokes. Except this unfortunate incident he had had a bright 2012 season that has brought him back to sixth position in the official world golf rankings.

At the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational Adam Scott had given his best to defend his title which he won the last year but made it to the 45th place in a tie. Next he joined the PGA Championship and ended up being at the T11th place. Victory came in at the Taliskar Masters where he had holed all the shots without having to use the bogey that earned him a gold jacket for the Masters Champion. So there is nothing to be depressed with that simple single-shot loss.
